Epiphany began thanks to the Envision Austin Competition at UT. This
competition was a way for Liberal Arts Honors students to come up with
ideas for their own nonprofit organizations, and pitch them to a judging
panel for funding. Out of over thirty competing teams, Epiphany was chosen
as one of the the three winners, receiving scholarships and seed funding
to begin operations the next semester.
